PrecisionCare Responsibilities The Physical Therapist (PT):
Reviews doctor referrals and medical records to determine PT treatment Refers to specialty clinics as needed (adaptive equipment, shoe and splint) Evaluates and assesses the needs and level of functioning in the areas of:
sensorimotor, gross & fine motor skills, musculoskeletal status, CNS status, ambulation and adaptive equipment needs Devises treatment plans based on the assessment Provides training as needed Participates and attends care plan/team meetings as needed for persons receiving PT services Supervises PTAs & therapists on limited permits Qualifications Graduate of an accredited physical therapy school with a Bachelor's Degree or higher Active New York State Physical Therapy License Knowledge in PT evaluation and treatment Ability to supervise direct assistants and aides Understand the principles of physical agent modalities employed in PT Knowledge in the use of mobility devices and therapeutic exercises Proficient with Microsoft Office Recommended Skills Adaptive Equipments Fine Motor Skills Medical Records Microsoft Office Physical Therapy Ambulation Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
