- Ensure the safety of all pool patrons by actively monitoring the pool area - Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment - Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents that may arise - Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with any questions or concerns - Perform routine pool cleaning tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and maintaining chemical levels - Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and report any issues or malfunctions - Assist with organizing and facilitating swimming lessons and other aquatic programs
Qualifications:
- Must possess current lifeguard certification from a recognized organization - Strong swimming skills and ability to perform rescues in various water conditions - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations - Physical fitness and ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for pool maintenance tasks Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties and qualifications.
