Accounting ManagerOur client, based in Yonkers, is seeking an accomplished Accounting Manager to join their team.
The Accounting Manager will play a key role in the finance department helping move forward financial and accounting initiatives for their operation! This opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule with the core work hours of 8:
30-5pm.

Responsibilities:
Provide month end support, including the review of account reconciliations and actual financial statementsEnsure that Company invoices are issued on a timely basis.
Monitor accounts receivable aging, following up as necessary with customers on past due paymentsApprove accounts payable entries.
Monitor vendor accounts to ensure that payments are made on a timely basis.
Assist with annual federal and state audits and other reviewsAssist with preparation of documents and reports for internal and external stakeholdersWork with the VP of Finance on financial analysis and modeling, business data analysis, and all other financial aspectsAbility to anticipate financial issues, assess business implications, act proactively, and recommend an appropriate action planAssist in managing spend against budget and forecast and present monthly expense and operational metric reports to assigned budget owners.
Ensure variances are thoroughly investigated, opportunities and risks are identified, and communicate to finance team membersAssume analytical leadership and coordinate analytical efforts across multiple teams within the organizationSupport the financial integrity process in validating internal and external reports to identify data discrepancies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 5
years in a comparable accounting role inside a medium or large organizationTransportation industry experience is helpful, but not requiredFamiliarity with NetSuite and Workday would be a HUGE PLUS!#CBSEP2023MaxSalary:
