Our prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and dedicated Permanent Associate Attorney to join our team.
This position is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of clients and possesses a strong knowledge of legal research, legal writing, litigation, and workers' compensation.
The ideal candidate will be a member of the New York State Bar with a minimum of 3
years of experience in the legal industry.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:
1.
Conducting thorough and detailed legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
2.
Drafting, reviewing, and editing a wide variety of legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and correspondence.
3.
Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and making compelling arguments in support of clients' interests.
4.
Managing all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial.
5.
Advising clients on their rights and responsibilities under workers' compensation laws and representing them in workers' compensation cases.
6.
Collaborating with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and solutions for complex legal issues.
7.
Staying current on changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact clients and their cases.
8.
Providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of professionalism, and upholding the reputation of the firm at all times.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for the Permanent Associate Attorney position will possess the following
Qualifications:
1.
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2.
Active membership in the New York State Bar.
3.
A minimum of 3
years of experience in the legal industry with a focus on litigation and workers' compensation.
4.
Proven experience in legal research and writing, with a strong ability to draft and edit complex legal documents.
5.
Excellent litigation skills, with experience managing all stages of litigation from initial case assessment through trial.
6.
In-depth knowledge of workers' compensation laws and experience representing clients in workers' compensation cases.
7.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal information to clients and other members of the legal team.
8.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
9.
A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
